I'm around 1650 USATT. I've used rubbers like Acuda S1 Turbo, Omega IV and V Pro, Tenergy 05, and all feel very comfortable on FH of 5-ply all wood OFF- blade.
I was under the impression that Bluefire M1 would be around the same hardness as Acuda S1 Turbo, but to me it felt harder. It was difficult for me to compress the sponge consistently and when I didn't make optimal contact I missed. When I executed properly though, my power loops were extremely fast and effective. Overall though I felt lost more on ball feeling and control.
Also, this rubber was more reactive to incoming spin than anything I've ever tried. I struggled returning serves from the same people where I normally have no issue.
It definitely has tremendous power and spin potential, but only recommended if you like hard rubber and are really consistent in all your strokes. I went back to Acuda S1 Turbo and I get the same length and power on my loops but with much better control.
