On demand from players wanting a very fast blade with maintained maximum touch and feel, Stiga developed the Stiga Carbo 7.6, a blade with completely new construction technology. The total number of layers is 13 (7 wood and 6 carbon). These microscopic carbon layers have been placed between each veneer.

Thanks to the innovative construction of Carbo 7.6, the speed is increased without allowing the carbon to stop the natural movement and resilience of the veneer layers. Has WRB system.
For the future buyers

I am sending this in again because the first time I did, I think it didnt work: At first it seemed like a great buy, but theres something they dont actually tell you; the paddle is made of thin layers of plywood and is easily breakable. I bought mine on 3/7/12 and it broke last week, 5/9/12, only 2 months. Then when I called, they told me that it wasnt a defect, it was the actual paddle itself. I would also watch out with certain paddles and probably call beforehand to not make the same mistake I made and get stuck with a broken paddle that will not be replaced or given a refund for. Hopefully this helps, because although the stats look good, they still dont matter because the paddle could only last a couple of months. The paddle broke completely randomly, without me ever hitting the table or my leg, it just broke between the handle and head right after I swung for a ball, which to me, and everyone I talked to at my club, looked clearly like the paddle was defected.

I admit I am merely a basement amateur player. I had been using a $40 Stiga Hammerlite from Dicks, and wanted to upgrade. I did my research and came upon this blade with the Calibra LT Plus Max Sponge rubber. I was led to believe that it would take some time to get used to the speed and spin of the max sponge and blade, but this blade was a no brainer. It instantly improved my forehand loop and smash shots, while maintaining a great amount of control and touch on the ball. I highly recommend this blade!

Carbo 7.6 WRB

Yes, the speed is fast and control is good. I experienced the difference compared with my previous butterfly carbo blade. However, the weight of this blade is a little light from the sound of its hiting the ball. I may get used to it when I play more with this blade.
