Stiga Clipper Classic

I just received my Stiga Clipper Classic flared Legend. Handle is happily thick and rough like the reviewers said. But rough in a controlled, purposeful manner to provide better grip. I am putting on the Yinhe Moon black on fh and Defender 2.1 on bh. Will play for a while and come back with further impressions.

I used many blades, and I like this one most! Especially good for the new standard 40+ ball.

Nice blade in the OFF class. Thicker feeling FL handle but needed sanding to reduce roughness. Fast blade with good control, goes well with different rubbers. This blade is best for mid distance hitting and looping. Would have rated it 5 stars but roughness of the handle was an issue. Good balance and weight feels medium.

Clipper has good balance and nice vibration when contacting the ball. A bit on the stiff side but still enough flex to produce severe topspin. With Boost rubber was very fast. With Mark V fast with more control. Handle was rough so sanding is a must. Would have recieved 5 stars but the rough handle was a small issue. Great Blade.

All i can tell you its excellent i can see why is so popular.Great control and speed its not the lightest blade but well balanced.Placing ball where you want to its so much easier then with some of those composite blades,pure classic.I have mendo mp on backhand and regular magna on forhand.Probably with boost that blade can do even more.Best wishes to all tt tennis players.
