The Nittaku Fastarc G-1 rubber is "Fast" with an "Arc"!

A power topsheet with a built-in tension power sponge produces the ideal combination of ball speed and ball arc - an outstanding powerful spin ball.

G-1 means "Grip First" and S-1 means "Speed First"

Choose Fastarc G-1 for more spin with great power, and choose Fastarc S-1 for more speed with great spin.
Best Nittaku Rubber
10/31/2018

I have used over 30 different rubbers and this is the best Nittaku rubber that I have used. One thing that I have noticed from the Nittaku rubbers is that they tend to be lighter in weight, last much longer, but have less power further away from the table. The G1 is no exception. This is an excellent rubber, and if you are concerned about 2nd speed further away from the table, then get a more powerful racket and it will be fine. As of now, I use it on the Nittaku Flyatt Carbon blade and works amazingly for my short to mid playing style. The amount of control and feedback you get for the excessive spin is incredible. Furthermore, for someone like myself who is very concerned about my serves, it left very little left to be desired. It also has great first speed and it is overall my 3rd favorite rubber that I have ever used.

Amazing
3/27/2015

I've played with many rubbers in the past two decades and this one clearly separates itself from the rest. Loop angle seems almost irrelevant now with this stuff. The spin is amazing and the sponge feels a lot like Tenergy. I have been using 05FX for 2 years now and this is my new favorite.

excellent, but shortage is apparent
11/28/2013

IMHO, this rubber is for everyone, particular for amateur players. It is a cruise control, very easy to get lots of returns back with good quality, at which you may missed badly if using other rubbers! Never the less, the power and 2nd jump is not impressive: fast loop has not much hard kick! One more thing to tell you: even with MAX sponge, the ball always hit the blade too much during block or drive; loop is fine anyway.

Just like Tenergy-close/mid distance
3/8/2013

I love this rubber because of its speed and spin. It has great control as well as power. It does the job when I want to do finishing shoots. It is very similar to Tenergy 05 when you are close/mid distance to the table. But its almost half the price of Tenergy and lasts much longer than Tenergy.

Quote from Samson Dubina - US Mens Singles finalist

One of my best friends from Japan suggested that I try the new Nittaku rubber - Fastarc G-1. At first, I was a bit skeptical. I dont like making equipment changes. After trying Fastarc, I know this is one of the best equipment changes that I have ever made. Fastarc G-1 is the most powerful Nittaku rubber ingeniously designed for the mid-distance looper. The powerful sponge teamed with the grippy topsheet is the perfect combination and great for dominating the counterlooping rallies.

Fastarc G-1

This is my forehand rubber for TimoBoll W7 and Mark V HPS for Bh. Tremendous spin! Has a grippy top surface, great power for looping nice control. Good counter attacking capability. High accuracy in returning of serves. Has a kick spin after the ball touches the table. Fun rubber to play with.

Fastarc G-1 rubber, hard topsheet
1/4/2012

This is a rubber with hard topsheet & med. hard big pores spring sponge which I did not like for short game & returning serve. I prefer the Nittaku S-1 much better for user friendly in overall performance. Buy S-1.

not as spinny as genius optimum sound
7/6/2011

I play with a Hallmark carbon extreme, genius optimum sound, max on forehand and Dr. Neubauer A.B.S. anti on the backhand. There is a significant difference in these rubbers considering they are both rated at 9.9 for spin. The Genius rubber has much more spin than the Fastarc G-1 max sponge. Looping is much easier with the Genius. This is taking into consideration I play a Danny Seemiller type of grip and my stroke mechanics are not optimal for looping. A classic offensive shakehand player could make better use of the Fastarc rubber.

Excellent rubber for a trained player.
2/3/2011

I used this Fastarc G-1 red for the first time yesterday on my forehand on Schlager Carbon Light, I think is a great rubber for offensive players, specially loopers, it was as the description, fast + arc and with good control even at high speed. The best part is that you do not have to hit the ball with the angle on your paddle or the brush that you need when using Tenergy05 --I normally play with Tenergy05--. I played a match without testing this Fastarc on my forehand and I did not have to adjust much, only when counterlooping maybe. But pushes are different, probably because of the throw angle, and returning heavy spin services require practice because of the spin. Excellent for a very agressive style. I think you should try it, because I think Im going to love it.

Fastarc G1 review
2/1/2011

Just started hitting with this today on a Samsonov Alpha blade with Nittaku Narucross EX soft on the opposite side. Its got a medium throw and hard topsheet, so opening loops and blocking werent too difficult because of the light dwell time. Countering and flat hitting were pretty good too. The grippy topsheet comes in handy for heavy spin serves, but you have to be more careful when returning because of that same reason. The speed in general was pretty good; I could hit harder and harder and I never felt the rubber bottom out or anything. Even on the Samsonov Alpha which is slow, I still had enough power to blow balls past my hitting partner. I can only imagine how it would be on an OFF+ blade like the KCZ or something...Overall, a pretty good rubber sheet for the agressive looper.
