Donic Waldner Dotec Carbon

I matched this blade with the Donic Bluestorm Z1 and it was a revelation. I (being a lefty), find this blade ideally suited to me. Forehand and backhand, I find myself being able to hit the ball coming off the table, and being able generate speed and power, by either blocking, or counter hitting. Loops (FH, and BH) are fast and have a high arc. The sound this bat/rubber make has a very satisfying 'cracking' sound. Also my placement/control has increased. My previous bat was a Mizutani Jun Super ZLC.

The cork handle design really a good development, so I could get a better grip. I also could get a fast & good control within, which is hard to find both points in a same blade. Even it is not to fast. It works good on my BlueFire M1 Turbo FH + Acuda P2 BH. It easier for loops & hard spin.

I've been using this blade for a few weeks now and I'm absolutely loving it. The power is probably somewhere in the OFF-/OFF range, but it makes up for it in control and comfort of the grip. I am picking my spots on smashes far better than I was before. I've paired it with Rakza 7 Soft on both FH and BH to improve my control, which also contributes to it feeling like an OFF-, so I think if paired with a harder rubber it would feel like an OFF. I've been more effective taking a little bit of power out of my game for a little bit more control, so this works great for me. Once you try this grip, you'll have a hard time going back to anything else.

I have used various blades in the past (Appelgren Allplay, Stiga Carbo Oversize, etc), but they all had the same issues: 1) sweaty palms caused me to lose grip on the blade, 2) The edges of the blade always cut in my finger and soon I would develop a painful callus. The blade is perfect and takes care of both issues. It is incredibly comfortable in the hand and well balanced. The carbon blade is fast, but not too much so, and it feel very controllable, especially for short play.

this is the best blade I have ever used, the control is a lot better than rating says speed is correct. No vibration, good touch and the best control of anything else on the market.

I tried this blade just for curiosity. The first time I played with it, i cant believe the comfort of no sharp edges! Plus the slightly thicker handle makes the grip more secure. I like the dotec carbon because the of the decent speed without the overpower effect. It is also great for touch shots near the table. Try it and youll never go back to your traditional blade
